The location across from the gothic council building made it easy to explore. I appreciated the complimentary secured car parking since it's rare for hotels. The double room was a decent size, offering all the essentials. the bed could use an upgrade for better comfort. Limited breakfast menu options left me wanting more variety each morning. The cleanliness was commendable, with the room and communal areas well-maintained. Staff attentiveness stood out, making me feel welcome during my stay. WiFi connectivity was decent but could be improved during peak times when it slowed down. a pleasant stay with potential for enhancement.

Room amenities quite basic without a smart TV!!! Limited toiletries like just bar soap and shower gel!!! Could consider adding mixer taps in bathrooms for better comfort!!!

Mate, the Chinese grub at Sunlight Chinese Takeaway was a culinary gem! The bar area was modern and made for a cracking atmosphere, while the traditional breakfast blew my socks off! Plus, the packed lunches were a neat treat for my busy days out.
Was surprised by the mid-stay cleaning. a heads-up would’ve been ace, but I wasn’t complaining.
